Kathleen DesRosiers, PR Talent – APAC & Minneapolis-St. Paul

Kathleen has more than 30 years of communications agency and recruiting experience, nearly half of which has been in Asia Pacific. She has served as a Vice President for FleishmanHillard, the founding Managing Director of Burson-Marsteller Taiwan, China General Manager of The Hoffman Agency and Senior Director for Text100 in Beijing. She has managed talent acquisition inside agencies and externally for agencies and corporations.

She understands what drives successful talent acquisition in diverse and developing markets. Kathleen draws on her own communications experience, which spans corporate communications, public affairs, and consumer and B2B marketing, to identify and assess candidates. Brant Skogrand, APR, MBC, CPPM


Brant Skogrand is assistant news editor at University of St. Thomas. You’ll find his work in the Newsroom, St. Thomas magazine, Lumen magazine and every Monday in the Star Tribune Business section with the Opus College of Business Outside Consultant column. He also serves as the professional adviser for Tommie Communications, a full-service communications agency run by students at the University of St. Thomas.


Brant also has operated Skogrand PR Solutions, a public relations, social media and search engine optimization firm. He previously worked for Rocket55, Risdall Public Relations, Thrivent Financial, Thomson Reuters, Tunheim and The Musicland Group.


He is Accredited in Public Relations, certified in search engine marketing and social media, and is a Certified Professional Project Manager.


Brant has taught public relations at North Central University and is a past president of the Minnesota chapter of PRSA as well as a past chair of the PRSA Midwest District. He has won numerous awards for his work, is the author of the book 19 Tips for Successful Public Relations and has served on the board of directors for MATTER. Brant has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in business communication from the University of St. Thomas.
